Seventh Generation Dishwasher Detergent Packs Free & Clear Review

What the formulation tells you

The published ingredient list and explicit fragrance-free description make this a practical shortlist option when scent avoidance matters. The water-soluble film is still part of the product: these packs should not be mistaken for an unwrapped, film-free tablet. Certification language also needs to be read narrowly; it does not establish a cleaning victory over every other detergent.

Choose the right pack and format

Check Free & Clear rather than Lemon or Triple Action on the actual offer. The listed 20-, 45- and 72-count sizes can make similar-looking packages poor price comparisons unless you calculate cost per pack. Do not buy a large quantity before confirming that the fixed dose fits your machine’s instructions.

If avoiding conventional pod film is the deciding factor, compare Blueland’s solid tablet. If variable dosing is more useful than a single-dose routine, look at a suitable powder and check its fragrance label separately.

Compare before you choose

Compare a film-wrapped pack with a solid tablet when packaging format matters; neither format alone proves better cleaning.
